Committed to a sustainable future for the ocean
From June 4 to 13, 2025, CLS will actively participate in the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC), held in Nice and Monaco. Alongside official delegations, institutional, scientific and civil society actors, we will reaffirm our commitment to sustainable ocean management in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, and in particular SDG 14.
A dedicated partner for ocean protection
As a long-standing scientific and technical partner of governments, NGOs, maritime authorities, fishing cooperatives, and the scientific community, CLS leverages its expertise to help preserve marine ecosystems, strengthen coastal resilience, and support the development of a responsible blue economy.
Our presence at UNOC 2025 will reflect this commitment through concrete contributions to several key forums for dialogue and international action.
Themes at the heart of our mission
CLS will engage on the following major challenges:
- Ocean conservation: pollution monitoring, underwater noise reduction, and biodiversity protection.
- Sustainable fisheries: supporting authorities, fishers, and cooperatives in the responsible management of marine resources.
- Coastal resilience: satellite and in situ data for monitoring shoreline changes, sea level rise, and coastal erosion.
- Blue economy and sustainable finance: solutions to support public policy and responsible investment at sea.
Where to find us at UNOC 2025

A global gathering, a call for collective action
UNOC 2025 stands as a critical platform to accelerate cooperation and turn commitments into tangible action for ocean protection. CLS is proud to contribute its voice, data, and solutions.
