Cookie Management

Entry into force on: 10.02.2025

When you browse our website, cookies and other trackers may be placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone). This section explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device when you visit a website. In particular, it allows you to remember your preferences, improve your user experience and analyze the site’s audience.

What types of cookies do we use?

We use two types of browser session cookies: temporary cookies that are erased from your device’s memory when you close your internet browser or turn off your computer, and persistent cookies that are stored on your device until they expire, unless you delete them before their expiration date. We group our site’s browser cookies into three categories, which you can manage through our Cookie Preference Manager:

Mandatory cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the site and cannot be disabled. They include, for example, cookies that allow us to manage your session or secure your connection.

Functional cookies

These cookies allow us to improve and personalize your user experience (e.g., remembering your language preferences).

Analytical cookies

These cookies allow us to measure the number of visitors and the performance of the site in order to improve its functioning. They help us understand how visitors interact with our site.

Cookies Flash

Videos and other features on our site may use Flash cookies to collect and store your preferences, such as loudness. Flash cookies are different from browser cookies because of the amount, type, and way in which the data is stored. The cookie management tools provided by your browser will not delete Flash cookies. To learn how to manage the privacy and storage settings for Flash cookies, click here. Some cookies may be placed by third-party service providers who perform some of these functions for us.

Cookie management by Axeptio

For the management of its cookies, CLS has chosen the Axeptio solution. Axeptio ensures transparent and compliant management of Your consent with regard to cookies and other trackers. Axeptio is a specialized platform recognized by the CNIL that allows users to choose, accept or refuse the cookies placed on their device, in compliance with the applicable regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.

How Axeptio works

When you visit our site for the first time, a cookie management banner will be displayed, allowing you to:

  • Accept or reject all cookies.
  • Customize your preferences by selecting the categories of cookies allowed (necessary, analytical, advertising, etc.).
  • Change your choices at any time via a link accessible at the bottom of the page (“Manage my cookies”).

Axeptio stores your preferences for a limited period of time and will ask for your consent periodically, in accordance with legal requirements.

Types of Cookies Managed by Axeptio

Thanks to Axeptio, you have full control over the following cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Essential for the proper functioning of the site (not subject to consent).
  • Analytical cookies: Used to measure the audience and improve the user experience.
  • Marketing and advertising cookies: Enable us to offer you targeted content based on your preferences.

Exercising your rights

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Axeptio interface integrated into our site. For more information on how Axeptio works, you can consult their Privacy Policy here.
