Shareholding Structure
Founded by CNES in 1986 to operate the Argos data collection and location system, CLS is now owned by two engaged and committed shareholders who fully embrace the company’s mission and values.


CNP
CNP is a private investment company founded by Albert Frère and a preeminent player on the European investment market.
Backed by a stable family shareholder base, CNP manages a net asset value of €3bn, focusing on long-term value creation by actively supporting the management teams of the companies in which it holds majority or leading stakes.

CNES
The French Space Agency (Centre National d’Études Spatiales – CNES) is a public institution responsible for proposing and implementing France’s space policy within Europe.
It designs and launches satellites and imagines the space systems of tomorrow. CNES fosters the emergence of new services with real-world applications. Created in 1961, CNES is behind many major space programs, including launchers and satellites, and works closely with the industry to drive innovation.
It has nearly 2,500 employees — men and women passionate about space and its infinite, innovative applications — working across five key areas: Ariane, science, Earth observation, telecommunications, and defense. CNES plays a key role in French industrial policy, technological innovation, and economic development. It also forms scientific partnerships and leads numerous international cooperation efforts. France, through CNES, is the main contributor to the European Space Agency (ESA).

CLS Governance
CLS is chaired by Stéphanie LIMOUZIN, who leads the company in collaboration with an engaged executive committee made up of heads of business and support functions — all working in service of CLS’s mission.
