Our employees contribute through their work to activities with ecological value. It is therefore natural for CLS to make a dedicated effort to reduce its own environmental footprint, enabling the company to anticipate reputational, regulatory, and financial risks linked to this issue. <\/p>\n

Energy Management<\/h2>\n

We strive to reduce the environmental footprint of our facilities, particularly by optimizing energy consumption: relamping, setting heating and cooling temperature thresholds, increasing data center temperature settings, etc.<\/p>\n

All CLS France sites use certified renewable electricity contracts, and more and more subsidiaries are following this path. At our headquarters in Toulouse, we also produce photovoltaic energy. <\/p>\n

The heat generated by cooling our data centers is recovered and reused to heat our buildings, helping to lower our energy footprint.<\/p>\n

Biodiversity<\/h2>\n

In addition to our core activities, CLS is committed to supporting local biodiversity. At our headquarters next to the Canal du Midi, we\u2019ve added four birdhouses, a bat shelter, flowering plants, and a large insect hotel.<\/p>\n

We also calculate our carbon footprint annually and are actively working to reduce it, fully aware that climate disruption is a major driver of biodiversity loss.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Mobility<\/h2>\n

Responsible Digital Practices<\/h2>\n

In 2022, CLS launched a responsible digital initiative. The first actions included reducing data center energy use and donating unused IT equipment.<\/p>\n

Waste Management<\/h2>\n

In France, all sites use a three-stream waste sorting system. Used pens are collected to benefit the charity “Les Clowns de l\u2019Espoir.” Electronic waste is handled through specialized channels. <\/p>\n
