With the appointment of Stéphanie Limouzin as President, CLS reaffirms its ambitions: accelerating international growth, strengthening its technological leadership, and consolidating its role as a French space pioneer serving the planet.
Vision, commitment, and sustainability will be the cornerstones of this new governance.

An exemplary career
After more than 15 years of dedication to the company, Stéphanie Limouzin, Executive VP since 2024, has become President of CLS Group.
An alumna of Montpellier SupAgro, she joined CLS (Collecte Localisation Satellites) in 2009, following nine years at ALCIMED, a consulting firm specialized in innovation and emerging markets in sectors such as life sciences, energy, aerospace, and defense.
At CLS, she began as project coordinator for European space oceanography programs, and in 2012 was appointed head of the Space Oceanography Department, leading a team of 80 scientists and engineers.
In 2017, she took over the Energy & Mining division, before becoming Vice-President Sales & Business Development in 2018. In 2022, she was awarded the title of Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur for her exemplary career. As Executive VP, since 2024, she has overseen the Group’s operations, uniting 1,000 employees across 31 sites worldwide and generating more than €200M in revenue.
On July 1st, 2025, Stéphanie Limouzin officially succeeded Christophe Vassal as President of CLS.
Christophe Vassal, now Vice-Chairman of the CLS Supervisory Board, has carefully prepared this transition. A natural choice for leadership, Stéphanie limouzin has been instrumental in shaping CLS’s development strategy, external growth initiatives, and its transformation into a market-oriented, customer-centric organization.
With this appointment, she joins the very small circle of female leaders in the French space industry.
The duo had no difficulty convincing the Supervisory Board to move forward with this transition, which had been initiated several years ago.
Stéphanie Limouzin: “Since joining CLS in 2009, I’ve been driven by a strong conviction: space technologies have a key role to play in addressing the environmental challenges of our time. Leading a group as committed as CLS is an immense honor, and above all, a collective responsibility.
Together with our teams, I will carry our ambitions forward: accelerate international development, reinforce our technological edge, and continue to innovate for the planet.
Christophe Vassal’s legacy, defined by vision, ambition, and impact, will remain a powerful source of inspiration.”
This is the beginning of a new chapter for CLS
A jewel of the French space sector, the company was shaped by Christophe Vassal & Stéphanie Limouzin, who successfully diversified its markets, technologies, and global reach.
Christophe Vassal: “I’ve been working directly with Stéphanie since 2012, our duo has been operational for a long time. She was the natural choice to take over the leadership of CLS.
The challenges ahead are both numerous and significant: growing environmental stakes, rapidly evolving technologies, and growing competition. But I know she will continue to develop CLS, just as she has already begun to do.
We have built a leadership team that is fully equipped to meet these challenges, and I have complete confidence in this team and in all CLS collaborators worldwide.”
