SST Data

There is only one type of Sea Surface Temperature product :
  • Gridded Sea Surface Temperature , which have been developed in DIADEM project.

    • We used the Oceans Pathfinder AVHRR data provided by JPL. These data are available twice a day (day and night image) with a 9 km horizontal resolution. The data are in HDF format. We selected only night images in order to avoid an expected bias in brightness temperature due to the sun light

    SLA Data

    There are two type of Sea Level Anomaly products :
  • Gridded Sea Level Anomalies.
  • Along Track Sea Level Anomalies.


    • These data are due on October 1, 1999.
