Maps of Sea Level Anomaly TOPEX/POSEIDON These are SLA MAPS (in cm) relative to a 4-year mean derived from the final processing of T/P data. Maps are obtained using an improved optimal interpolation method (Hernandez et al., 1995 ; Le Traon et al., 1998) of the altimetric SLA. There is one map (40-6°W/20-46°N) every 10 days from October 1992 to March 1998. Contour interval is 4 cm. New maps are obtained for the T/P cycles 2-47 and 93-202 (October 92 to December 93, and March 95 to March 1998). The ERS-1/2 data are pre-processed in order to be combined with T/P data (Le Traon and Ogor, 1998).
