The movie shows the evolution of TOPEX/POSEIDON Sea Level Anomaly (relative to a 4-year mean) over more than a
5-year period (1992/10/08 - 1998/03/14). There is one snapshot every 10 days
(In order to observe mesoscales structures, a constant which corresponds to the spatial mean is removed for each map)
To create your own animation :
- Enter the dates for the first map and the date for the last map by :
- Selecting them among available dates
OR
- Entering your favorite dates, and click on OK : the nearest available dates will appear
- Select a speed (fast to slow)
- See your animation pushing the Start/Stop button
