Launch of the Jason-1 satellite follow-on of the TOPEX/POSEIDON satellite which mission will be to observe and measure the oceans over the next 10 years.

For this new Altimetric mission, CLS thanks to its expertise acquired over 10 years, supplies a Space Oceanography Processing center and exploits data for alitmetry applications.
